Before you arrive

For the safety of all our special guests:

  • Please ensure that your vaccinations/boosters for common feline viruses are up-to-date. Cats must be vaccinated against feline herpesvirus; feline calicivirus [causes of 'cat flu'] and feline panleucopaenia virus [cat enteritis].

  • Proof of vaccinations must be shown before cats are admitted.

  • We also accept titers with appropriate veterinary paperwork.

  • Please ensure all worming and flea treatments are up-to-date.

  • Male cats over the age of 6 months should be neutered [or chemically castrated prior to their stay].

  • Ensure that you leave enough time to complete the cattery registration form and medication consent form [if required] when you check in. Alternatively, you can complete the form at home and e-mail it to us prior to your cat's stay.

  • Check that you have brought enough medication for the length of your cat's stay, with a little extra in case of a short delay.

  • Your cat should not have any infectious diseases - we will carry out a health check on arrival. We will be unable to accept any cats which we suspect to be suffering from an infection to ensure the protection of all our other guests.

  • Check that your cat carrier is escape proof.

  • For their safety please remove your cat's collar for the duration of their stay.
